• Meeting Information

    Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, the Osborn School District Governing Board hereby states that all notices of meetings of the Osborn School District Governing Board and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted in the glass case  located at the entrance of  Osborn District Offices 1226 W. Osborn Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013 and on the Osborn School District website www.OsbornSchools.org. Both locations are accessible to the public 24 hours a day. Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.

    Regular meetings of the Governing Board are held at 5:30 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of each month with exceptions* as noted.  Work Study Sessions are held the first Tuesday of each month as listed at 5:30  PM with exceptions* as noted for more informal, in depth discussion of topics.  These sessions may be canceled if appropriate/timely topics are not identified or if the meeting is not warranted.     At least 24 hours before a Board meeting, a public notice and agenda are posted at the administrative offices. If a holiday or unforeseen circumstance should necessitate changing the schedule, the new date and time will be included on the notice.

    All board meetings, except executive sessions, are open to the public. Under Arizona law, the board may call an executive session to discuss personnel matters, the purchase or lease of real property, meet-and-confer discussions, and legal matters with attorneys, among other things.

    The public is invited to address the Board on any subject. The public will be able to listen to the meeting live through livestream.  An Osborn employee will read the Call to the Public comments.  Any communication received in Spanish will be translated and read to the members of the Governing Board in English.  The comments in their entirety will be presented to the Governing Board in writing.  You may also present a live Call to the Public if you are attending in person or on the Youtube Livestream.  An individual wishing to address the Governing Board must email their message or request to speak live to lnye@osbornsd.org by 12:00pm on the day of the Regular Meeting.  By law, the Board will be unable to respond to any item that is not on the posted agenda but may take it under advisement for further discussion.
